Inspired by Corndog, I looked up the Top 100 songs of 1988, my graduation from highschool year. It was not pretty. It was waaay worse than I remembered. The idea is to comment on/critique them. Here are the first 10:

So at 22, I was so depressed, I gave up. My comments/critique are not nearly as intellegent and insightful as Corndog’s, but I think the point is expressed. ‘88 was not a good year on the pop charts.
